Delete your Exploreum account
Exploreum is made by Coldsnap
You can delete your Exploreum account and the data attached to it at any time. There are two ways to do it.
In the app or on the website
- Open Exploreum on your phone, or in your browser, signed in to the account you want to delete.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Choose Delete account, then confirm with Delete everything.
Deletion takes effect immediately and cannot be undone. It works the same way for a guest session that has no email address.
By email
If you cannot open the app, write to contact@valbilon.com from the email address of your account and ask us to delete it. We will delete the account and confirm by reply.
What is deleted
- Your account: email address, display name and sign-in.
- The experiences you unlocked.
- Your progress: experiences started and finished, streak and badges.
- The ratings and comments you left.
Unlocks earned at a venue cannot be restored after deletion. You would need
to scan the code at the venue again.
What is kept, and for how long
- Usage statistics in Google Analytics are tied to a random app identifier, not to your account. Google Analytics retains them for up to 14 months.
- Database backups that still contain your data are kept for 7 days, then discarded.
- Event tickets you took stay in the venue's attendance count, with your name and account removed from them.
Deleting some data without deleting the account
To have specific data removed, such as a rating you left, write to the address above and say what you want deleted.
